The MA International Journalism aims to offer knowledge and expertise for a career in the international media or in related fields.
The course offers the opportunity to gain a perspective on 21st century journalism in different media and in different countries. It offers a mix of practice and theory Ð blending journalistic techniques and advanced academic study.
The programme offers practical journalism, but remains an academic MasterÕs degree.
The practical working environment within the degree aims to deepen professional knowledge and challenge understandings.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- 2:2 honors degree in any subject
- Relevant professional experience provided by any reference
- Official transcripts of all the previous school, college or universities attended
English Language Requirements:
- IELTS: 6.5 overall minimum with 5.5 in each subskill
- TOEFL IBT: minimum 90 overall with 17 in writing, 17 in listening, 18 in reading, 20 in speaking
- PTE Academic: 62 minimum overall with 59 in all communicative skills
Indian Student Specific Requirements:
- Average of 78-81% in top 4 subjects (not including physical education) in Senior Secondary Examination (Std XII)
