- The course is taught through a mix of context, theory, and hands-on practice, with both individual and group learning activities built in.

- Full-time students study 8 hours a week of teaching and related activities, and 16 hours a week on self-directed study.

Students get the facility of 24-hour access to the UWE Bristol library, as well as access to leading resources, specialist journals, and publications through our online portal.
- Assessment will be through practical coursework, vivas, presentations and portfolios. The number of exams students take will depend on their optional module choices.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students require an honours degree at 2:2 or equivalent in a relevant subject from a recognized university.
- The relevant subjects include Computer Science, IT or other computing subjects, Maths, Statistics, any Engineering subject, any quantitative subject such as Physics, Chemistry, Business, Marketing, Economics, Psychology and Social Sciences.
- Experience with quantitative methods and/or coding is highly recommended.
- Applicants who do not meet the normal entry requirements, but who have relevant professional experience or qualifications are eligible to apply for the program.
Indian Students Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Students have to complete a 4-year undergraduate degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Students must complete a Higher Secondary School Certificate/Indian School Certificate – Standard XII from CBSE/CISCE/WBCHSEB: English Language with 70%. This qualification must have been completed within the last three years.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.

- Letter of Recommendation - This shows who recommended the student to pursue the degree.
- Personal Statement - This is an essay or any written statement written by the student while applying in a minimum of 250 words.
- English Language Requirement - This shows the test score of English Proficiency Exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, etc.
