The French course offers a broad range of studies through the study of language, history, literature and culture, from medieval literature to French cinema. Students of Russian are introduced to a linguistic and cultural tradition encompassing some of Europe's most important writers, literary developments and ideological trends.

During theÊFrench and Russian programme from University of Bristol will achieve a high degree of fluency and accuracy in written and oral registers in both French and Russian, and study the history, literature and culture of countries where they are spoken.
