  • The BSc Actuarial Science and Risk Management programme has been designed by qualified actuaries to enable students to develop the theoretical and practical skills required to pursue a career as an actuary in the pensions and insurance sectors, or in the wider financial industry.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

  • AAA + A (AS) including A-level Mathematics.
  • A minimum of a 2:2 Honours Degree provided any subject requirement

Indian students eligibility:

Applicants must have the following qualifications to be eligible for direct admission:

  • Three A levels
  • Between 30 and 36 points in the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB).
  • The Standard Indian XII (10+2) examinations from CBSE, CISCE or State Boards of Higher Secondary Education are acceptable for admission to their Bachelor's degree programs.

An average mark of 70 - 85% or higher (best of 5 academic subjects) in the Standard Indian XII Higher Secondary School certificates awarded by the central boards (CBSE, CISCE) or a state board, or equivalent, with 75% or higher where subject requirements are stipulated (comparable with Grade B at A-Level).

Applicants will normally need to demonstrate a level of English equivalent to 6.5 IELTS or 90 TOEFL IBT (Internet-based test). However, some degree programs have higher or lower requirements.
