The BSc Actuarial Science and Risk Management programme has been designed by qualified actuaries to enable students to develop the theoretical and practical skills required to pursue a career as an actuary in the pensions and insurance sectors, or in the wider financial industry.
In addition, students may gain up to six exemptions from the initial technical professional exams required to qualify as an actuary via our accreditation with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

AAA + A (AS) including A-level Mathematics.
A minimum of a 2:2 Honours Degree provided any subject requirement

Indian students eligibility:

Applicants must have the following qualifications to be eligible for direct admission:

Three A levels
Between 30 and 36 points in the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB).
The Standard Indian XII (10+2) examinations from CBSE, CISCE or State Boards of Higher Secondary Education are acceptable for admission to their Bachelor's degree programs.

An average mark of 70 - 85% or higher (best of 5 academic subjects) in the Standard Indian XII Higher Secondary School certificates awarded by the central boards (CBSE, CISCE) or a state board, or equivalent, with 75% or higher where subject requirements are stipulated (comparable with Grade B at A-Level).

Applicants will normally need to demonstrate a level of English equivalent to 6.5 IELTS or 90 TOEFL IBT (Internet-based test). However, some degree programs have higher or lower requirements.
