- This pathway is for those interested in careers in creative broadcast programmes and media making for television, radio, journalism, podcasts, and other new and emerging digital media platforms.
- This degree aims to introduce students to the widest possible experience of modern broadcasting combined with critical thinking and excellent online skills.
- Whether it is the program making for online or traditional broadcast, live or on location, in front or behind the camera or microphone, they will gain substantial practical skills supported by the kind of theoretical and critical skills employers tell university they want in new entrants to the Creative Industries.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- AAA including Mathematics and at least one from Physics (preferred), Biology, Chemistry, or Further Mathematics.
- A minimum of a 2:2 Honours Degree provided any subject requirement
Indian students eligibility:
Applicants must have the following qualifications to be eligible for direct admission:
- Three A levels
- Between 30 and 36 points in the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB).
- The Standard Indian XII (10+2) examinations from CBSE, CISCE or State Boards of Higher Secondary Education are acceptable for admission to their Bachelor's degree programmes.
An average mark of 70 - 85% or higher (best of 5 academic subjects) in the Standard Indian XII Higher Secondary School certificates awarded by the central boards (CBSE, CISCE) or a state board, or equivalent, with 75% or higher where subject requirements are stipulated (comparable with Grade B at A-Level).
Applicants will normally need to demonstrate a level of English equivalent to 6.5 IELTS or 90 TOEFL IBT (Internet-based test). However, some degree programmes have higher or lower requirements.
