This course has been designed to incorporate guidance from the Communications-Electronics Security Group (CESG), a group within the UK Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ), as well as the Institute of Information Security Professionals’ (IISP) Information Security Skills framework.
The course reflects current issues and industry requirements, assisting the drive towards improved cyber security provision at a national level.
This program is for those seeking to improve their technical understanding of cyber security, IT services and risk management, and how this relates to the wider business and customer-facing needs. During the course students will develop specialist skills in cyber security, risk and information management, underpinned with software and networked systems.
Students will also learn to use a wide range of cyber security-related tools and techniques, alongside technical skills in computer programming, software engineering, cloud and database development.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic entry requirements:

We require successful completion of a Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Standard 12 with an overall average of 65% or above.
If students do not meet these requirements they may be eligible to study the foundation program.

Mathematics entry requirements

Students need the equivalent of GCSE Mathematics grade C/4.

English language requirements

Students are not required to provide an English Certificate if they achieve a score of 65% or above on the English Language subject of their a Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Standard 12.
