- This course provides advanced-level education, continuous professional development, and training for those already holding or seeking roles in obesity prevention, weight management, health promotion, public health, and related areas.
- Topics covered in the program include the latest developments in public health and obesity prevention strategies, diet and nutrition, exercise, psychology and behavior change, and research methods.
- Chester also includes a number of practical and problem-based sessions in the teaching and assessments to give students hands-on experience in assessing body composition (anthropometrics), dietary intake and physical activity, devising and analysing recipes and meal plans and delivering weight management consultations.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Applicants will normally be expected to hold a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2:2 honors, or equivalent from the recognized university.
Indian Eligibility:
- Students should hold a bachelor's degree with 60% or above from the recognized university.
Applicants must have qualified IELTS or TOEFL exams to fulfill the language requirement.
