Aditi S. Review at University Of Glasgow [GLA], Glasgow | Collegedunia

It has been a lovely and beautiful experience.

AS
7.5 /10

I choose Glasgow because it is ranked very high and has amazing research opportunities.

Course Curriculum :

The course curriculum covers all the modules right on time, without any delays. The teaching styles are very different from CBSE. So it's hard, but it enhances learning in great ways.

Exams :

I took my LoR from my school counselor and biology teacher. I also submitted a personal essay that focused on my achievements and what I wish to do in the future. I also talked about what I can give to the university.

Placement :

They are brilliant, there is a huge network and the career hub helps.

Internship :

I've done an unpaid internship (voluntary) with the NHS.

Fees :

$22,620

Scholarship :

No

Faculty :

We have lectures of up to 200-300 students in a class, but smaller groups are assigned for labs and seminars or tutorials. the faculty is very approachable, they have visiting hours when we can walk up to them and ask anything, and the pandemic hasn't stopped that either. They still take doubts over zoom calls and explain solutions to our problems no matter how long it takes

Hostel :

I live off-campus in a nearby town called ayr. (not on/around campus).
