I got accepted for my dream course, St. Andrews offers a campus life, instead of city life, it is a stunning town with travel places around, very diverse, closer to home, a lot of extra curricular opportunities

Course Curriculum

8

It is intense, but if you are regular with your academics, get in touch with the professors to clear doubts, and take all the help you can get, you should be fine. Curriculum is not outdated and requires you to be aware of current affairs to be able to relate better

Exams

My scores were as follows: Toefl - 102/120, SAT - 1360/1600. Applied through common app. CBSE - 97%

Placement

7

All big companies host events from time to tone, but student clubs like the St. Andrews Business Club can get student in touch with local employers to find part time jobs.

Events

There’s a lot to do, if you get out of your comfort zone and give everything a shot! Being a small town, it can get depressing, unless you’re extremely social and keep yourself busy.

Scholarship

No

Faculty

7

On average, student teacher ratio is 75:1. Extremely friendly and approachable, willing to help. A professor for economics that I would recommend is Ian Smith, and for management is Lorie Leigh Davis.

Hostel

2

Accommodation is unbelievably expensive and limited. Hard to afford for a middle-class student, unless you’re working part-time. Average cost is £550/ month for University accommodation and £500 for private.
