The factors that drove me to accept the offer were: World ranking, campus and location, well-rounded course structure related to all branches of Psychology, focus on scientific aspect of Psychology. What I liked most about University was the social aspect in terms of clubs and societies, and the focus on providing a well rounded Psychology background and the practical work we did. These factors also led me to choosing this particular program.
Course Curriculum
Really relevant and updated course curriculum with opportunity for practical research and experimentation. There is a heavy focus on statistics and the more scientific aspects which differ from BA Psychology programs. This is something to consider if science/math isn't a focus of you.

Placement
There is a careers service which can help with finding places to apply and writing applications but not many post-study placements are granted. There is no hiring out of university and considerable individual effort needs to be made to apply for jobs.
Events
Excellent campus life and events. Clubs and societies are really welcoming and the social aspects is fantastics. Since it's a city university there aren't many sports facilities within the uni, they are rented externally. WiFi is great and libraries are great, if not slightly old.

Faculty
The course is extremely large with around 200 if not more students. Professors are easily approachable but a considerable effort needs to be made if you want to form a relationship with them. It is only during 3rd year where during your dissertation you can work more closely with a professor, but there is opportunity earlier if effort is made on your part.
Hostel
Accommodation is through the university in first year, after which students are expected to find their own accommodation. Individual rooms most common but you can share in first year. Through uni the average cost is £190-£200 weekly. For renting your own flat, costs vary greatly depending on location, number of rooms, etc.
