Dhruv Kulshreshtha Review at University Of Warwick, Coventry | Collegedunia

So far, I have absolutely no complains. We're all trying to adapt to the pandemic and the university has done a considerably great job.

MORSE is an interdisciplinary degree so I get to work with 4 departments of the university, namely Warwick Mathematics Institute, Warwick Business School, Statistics Department and Economics Department.

Course Curriculum

10

I have absolutely no complains. The course is pretty challenging and that's one of the primary reasons why I like it. We have weekly assignments and fortnightly tests. Additionally, the faculty and staff are very experienced at their fields, and are really approachable.

Exams

The requirement is A*AA with A* in math, i.e. 90% overall in CBSE and 90 in math

Placement

The university has its own careers platform and offers quite a few research opportunities, even for undergraduate students. (URSS scheme is an example)

Events

I've been studying remotely for the first term and have been attending classes virtually, but I've been overwhelmed with the university community and events. There are career events every week and department social events every few weeks. There are over 250 student run societies, and over 70 sports clubs, many of which are free.

Scholarship

No

Faculty

10

The structure of teaching is as follows: we have lectures (with 200-800 students) handled by professors who are extremely experienced in their fields, seminars (with upto 100 students) handled by teaching assistants who are almost equally experienced, tutorials (with upto 24 students) handled by PhD student tutors and supervisions (with 5 students) handled by masters students. I've also attended office hours of all the lecturers and they're all very approachable.
