King's was one of the dream colleges and the uni and programme is quite highly ranked in QS/ US news ratings. London seemed like the perfect city to explore and live in as a student.

Course Curriculum

6

The course seemed relevant and up to date with the topics within organisational psychology. Some of the guest lecturers were pioneers in their field and it was such a pleasure to be able to learn from them. There was a lack of industry exposure in terms of an internship within organisational psychology, I found it to be more research oriented as compared to the business oriented.

Exams

The admission requirements were a minimum GPA 6.5 with majority of the coursework or modules related to psychology. I just took the IELTS- 8 band

Placement

1

The research opportunities are quite a lot as compared to internships placement within my course especially.

Events

King's has 5 campuses spread throughout London which gives amazing opportunities to explore each campus. My campus was a little away from the others near King's hospital given the nature of courses at my campus so it was the less happening one naturally. Having said that, I quite liked it overall. The library was a bit small so i had to travel to use the libraries on other campuses. There are tons to do events and extracurrciular wise. Given I was a full time student I didn't get the time to be a part a lot of clubs. I've been to some amazing career fairs, alumni meets and networking events which were extremely helpful

Scholarship

No

Faculty

6

Some of the professors were pioneers and leading researchers within their domain so they bought so much of experience in the lectures which was extremely helpful. I wasnt a big fan of statistics in psychology and that completely changed just because of my professor

Campus Life

My overall experience was satisfactory- the course could have been better had it more opportunities of actual work experience through placements or internships etc

Hostel

7

I lived near campus initially but then one of the buildings were a fire hazard and all studnets were relocated- it was the worse experience. The infrastructure and facilities of the old accomodation was amazing and it was just a 7-8 min walk to my campus which saved on travel costs. The new accomodation was average- the infrastructure wasnt good but it was centrally located so the location was an advantage to explore the city more.
