Queen’s University, Belfast Opens UG Scholarship Registration 2023 for Indian Students

New Delhi: Queen’s University Belfast has begun the application process for the scholarships of Indian and Asia-Pacific students for the 2023 intake of September session. The India Academic Excellence Award 2023 will be exclusively offered to the Indian students enrolled in a full time undergraduate degree programme at Queen’s University Belfast. Whereas, South Asian applicants are those who are residing in Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan or Sri Lanka. Candidates intending to apply for the India Academic Excellence Award 2023 can visit the official website of Queen’s University @qub.ac.uk and apply online.

India Academic Excellence Award 2023: Eligibility

• Students from specific Indian schools who will begin their full-time undergraduate studies at Queen's University Belfast in September 2023 are the only ones who are eligible for this grant. 
• The applicant must be enrolled in or a graduate from one of India's accredited institutions (list of institutions), and they must have earned an overall grade point of average 85% or higher in class 12.

India Academic Excellence Award 2023: Criteria for Scholarships 

For the first year of study, tuition costs will be reduced by £7,500. There are a total of 15 grants available, and applicants must submit an online application to be considered for the scholarships.

India Academic Excellence Award 2023: Selection Process 

This scholarship requires an online application. Candidates who qualify must submit an essay of up to 750 words outlining their motivations for applying to Queen's University Belfast and how this programme will help them achieve all their professional goals. It must be noted that the last date to apply for this scholarship is June 8, 2023. According to an official notification, a total of 15 students will be selected for the scholarship. However, the final selection will primarily focus on the candidate's performance in the essay and their academic record.
