The Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering degree is awarded to candidates who successfully complete the taught courses and research components of the program.
The students are required to complete a program of advanced courses in engineering.
Students for this degree are supervised by experienced researchers and are expected to demonstrate initiative in their approach and innovation in their work.
The PhD students prepare and present a thesis on their chosen area. Research may be undertaken in a variety of topics corresponding to the areas of focus identified by the University.

Academic Eligibility:

Students must complete a master’s degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0 out of 4.0, or equivalent.
Students must submit the English Language Proficiency Test Score.
Students with insufficient prior background in the chosen Doctorate’s program may be considered for conditional admission, but will be assigned undergraduate and/or graduate courses and/or specially tailored remedial courses as specified by the relevant program.
