We live in a world that has diverse locations and people we apparently doesn’t even know about. Such are some cool destinations over the world where people are not allowed to visit.

Being an adventure freak myself, such destinations urge me to study deep about them and know what forbids us from entering the land.

1. Heard Island Volcano, Australia

Said to be one of the most dangerous and hardest places to travel, Heard Island Volcano is part of Australia’s external territory. The island is home to 41 glaciers and number of wildlife animals such as penguins, seals and marine birds. The volcano at Heard Island is said to be active since year 2000.

2. Snake Island, Brazil

You would not want to visit this place until you direly love snakes or wish to research on them. The island is said to be home to one of the most deadly species of snakes, The Golden Lancehead Viper. Its venom holds the capability to eat through flesh. And, there are 4000 more of them. (Just tellin!) Only handful of scientist are allowed to study snakes, otherwise Brazilian government has prohibited the local man visit.

3. North Sentinel Island, Andaman Island

Famous for its pristine lush greenery, North Sentinel Island is inhabited by small indigenous population known as Sentinelese. These species are known to be distance and rejected contact with other people. Thereby leaving it as one of the last communities to be untouched by modern civilizations. And, they are very well satisfied with it.

4. Poveglia, Italy

Considered to be one of the most haunted places on earth, Poveglia is said to be haunted by ghosts of plague victims, war victims and of a murderous asylum doctor. Going back to history, it has had a fort, quarantine station for the bubonic plague and also an asylum.

5. Vatican Secret Archives, Vatican City, Italy

In possession of documents and papers dated back to eighth century, buried deep are Vatican secret archives. It is in hold of historic documents, state papers, and papal account books. The archives are official property of current pope, have been said to shelve over 52 miles. Only qualified scholars are granted entry and that too after rigorous application process.

6. Area 51, Nevada, US

One of the most secretive places in US. It is established in middle of barren Nevada desert and is secret American military base whose purpose is still a secret to people. The place is said to be having wild speculations including famous alien conspiracies. We don’t know what happens inside Area 51, because what happens in Area 51, stays in Area 51.

7. Svalbard Global Seed Vault, Norway

Hidden deep in the Svalbard Mountain, Global Seed Vault is safe house for various seeds for purpose of preserving variety of plant seeds in case of global crisis. The bank is home to around 1 million samples of seeds.

8. Coca-Cola Vault, Georgia, US

Vault that is in possession of world’s most highly regarded trade secrets. It is closely guarded and also has the best kept secret of Coca Cola’s formula.

9. Bank of England Vaults, England, UK

Bank of England Vaults contain one fifth of the world’s gold. The bank holds 5,134 tons of gold worth $248 Billion. That is huge! No doubt, the area is restricted for local people.

10. Bhangarh Fort, India

Another one of the most haunted places declared by the government. It is situated in Rajasthan and have been imposed of strict rules and regulations for entry. The people are not allowed to visit from sunset to sunrise. As per the locals, anyone who has tried to violate this rule have not been found.
