1. Leh-Manali Highway

I'm sure that you must have dreamt of traveling on this road ever since you saw Shahid and Kareena merrily making their way through this one in the movie “Jab We Met”. This is a 479 km long highway surrounded by snow-covered lofty mountains.

2. Kinnaur Road

Located in the southwestern part of Himachal Pradesh, Kinnaur road is extremely narrow as it has been literally carved out of rocks. This road is known for its sharp twists and turns.

3. Kishtwar-Kailash, Jammu & Kashmir

I dare you to try this road only if you are big on risks and adrenaline rushes. The road has no guard rail or secure edging on its sides and is made up of just gravel, stones, and sand carved narrowly into the side of a cliff. This road is definitely not fit for the faint of heart, or novice drivers as it is also called the ‘Almost Killer’ road.

4. Zoji La

Located at a height of 11,000 ft. , Zoji La is one of the toughest mountain roads to cross. The views across this road are simply a visual treat but it also comes up with a lot of dangers.

5. Rohtang Pass

Situated at a height of 3979m, this pass offers one of the most beautiful scenic views and forms a great attraction among the tourists. It is traversed by the Leh Manali Highway.  

6. Three Level Zig Zag Road

If you are looking for an adventurous fun ride, then this road is a perfect one for you. It is located at a height of 11,200 ft. and a special permit is required to travel on this road.

7. Neral Matheran Road

Located in the Rajgad district of Maharashtra, this road is known for its dangerous curves and turns which makes it one of the most difficult roads to drive on. The narrow width of the road even makes it more dangerous.
