56-year-old Mala Dutta earned her Ph.D. degree from the Delhi University in March 2019. What made this occasion more special was that she earned this degree along with her daughter Shreya who too gave the exams this year. This mother-daughter duo is really fascinating.

2. V.N. Parthiban

V.N. Parthiban is a professor from Chennai who holds a record of 145 degrees. In his 50s, Prof. Parthiban spends his entire day teaching and attending classes at various universities. He hasn’t stopped yet and wants to earn more degrees.

3. Shiv Charan Yadav

Shiv Charan Yadav is an 85-year-old man from Bihar setting goals for the youngsters. He has attempted the X class board exam 47 times, though unfortunately failing in all of them.

N Saroja Ramachandran became an inspiration for people after she cleared the Chartered Accountancy exam at the age of 59. Interestingly, she did this just to make a conducive environment for her son who was also preparing for the same exam.

Karthiyani Amma showed the world that age is truly just a number when she topped the Kerala literacy exam. At the age of 96, she scored 98% marks in the “Aksharalaksham” test conducted by the State.

6. Raj Kumar Vaishya

With a belief that opportunities never cease for those who believe in themselves, Raj Kumar Vaishya passed MA (Economics) from the Nalanda Open University in 2017 at the age of 98. He has also been registered by the Limca Book of Records as the oldest man to enroll in a master’s degree program.
