The MSc in Information Studies (IS) program builds foundational skills across the breadth of the information studies field and provides opportunities for students to take courses.
Students can take courses in the following two categorizations:
Library Science: Focuses on providing essential knowledge applicable in a type of library or information management jobs.
Information Analytics: Focuses on using methods, tools, and frameworks to manage, analyze and derive insight from traditional as well as digital information assets such as social, mobile, cloud and big data
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
Applicants must have :
- A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Good communication skills (written and spoken English)
- Working experience in an information-related field
- Passion and interest in the information studies field
- Degree classification second class lower/Honours (Merit) and above or equivalent
Indian Eligibility:
- Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
For applicants whose native language is not English, a good TOEFL score is required. IELTS may be submitted in place of TOEFL.
