RGU Postgraduate Award is offered to meritorious students who are willing to study masters or Ph.D. degree courses, in any subject, at Robert Gordon University. This scholarship is awarded to first-year students of any on-campus postgraduate program.

RGU Postgraduate Award offers partial funding of 3,000 GBP towards postgraduate research tuition fees
Scholarship program is open to all international students, except to students from Scotland.

Eligibility Criteria

RGU Postgraduate Award is applicable to students of all nationalities. However, there are some basic requirements which all students must fulfill:

Beginning postgraduate courses in any subject at Robert Gordon University.
- Must have received an offer of admission from Robert Gordon University.
- Have opted for RGU as their primary choice for full-time study.
Fulfilled the standard academic entry requirements of RGU.
Must be classed as an international student liable to pay fees at an overseas rate or fee paying students from the rest of the UK.
- Be a self-funding student.
Meet the English language requirement of the university.
- Minimum IELTS score- 6.5
- Minimum TOEFL-iBT score- 88

Application Process

No separate application is required.

Any award granted will be indicated in your Letter of Offer.

Selection Process

Applicants are not required to submit a separate RGU Postgraduate Award application. Those who receive the admission offer will automatically be considered for this award. While selections will be based on academic merit, there are several components that might influence the decision:

Grant Details

Robert Gordon University is offering the RGU Postgraduate Award to help students reduce their educational expenses. This scholarship is applicable for Masters Degree and P.hD degree courses. RGU is offering this scholarship to the first-year students of the on-campus postgraduate program.
