Regional Scholarships at University of Hertfordshire

The University of Hertfordshire in England welcomes international students enrolled there to apply for regional scholarships. Students are awarded on the basis of their academic merit and potential, as well as what region around the world they are from.

Presently, scholarships are offered to students from Africa, North America, South America, East Asia, Southeast Asia, and South Asia.
Only students who pay overseas fees are eligible.
The amount will vary between 1000, 2000 and 4000 GBP, as of September.

These scholarships are awarded by the University and are separate from other external scholarships available to international students in the UK.

Eligibility Criteria

Students holding an offer to any course at the University of Hertfordshire can apply. The applicant must be from one of the following regions:

Africa
North America
South America
East Asia
Southeast Asia
South Asia

The applicant must pay overseas tuition fees to the university in order to be considered for the scholarship, i.e. citizens of UK/EU cannot apply.

In order to apply, the candidate must contact the university authorities at international@herts.ac.uk or speak directly to one of the overseas representatives. You must also fill this form available on the official scholarship page.

The university selects candidates on the basis of:

Interest in the chosen course
Motivation for studying
Future career aspirations

All students who apply may not necessarily receive the scholarship amount. Selected students will be notified.
