Humber College Entrance Scholarships

Humber College Entrance Scholarships, a merit-based partially renewable entrance scholarship, is awarded to students with sustained academic performance, community involvement, references, and statement of interest. The scholarship is open to all Graduate Certificate, Diploma, and Advanced Diploma students joining Humber College.

This scholarship will be awarded to 10 undergraduate and 10 graduate eligible new international students every year.
An amount of CAD 2000 will be awarded under this scholarship.

These scholarships are available at the time of admission and offered as a discount on tuition fees. The scholarships are divided throughout the three academic semesters each year.

Humber College Entrance Scholarships will be awarded to the eligible students on a first-come, first-served basis.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of Humber Entrance College scholarships are as following:

Students must have a minimum GPA of 85% and above.
IELTS score of 6.5 and above is a must. (equilvalent tests like TOEFL, PTE will also work)
Humber student ID number - Applicant must be enrolled in a full-time academic program at Humber.

All eligible students must have a letter of acceptance or offer letter of admission. Humber College awards the scholarship automatically to graduating high school students with a minimum final admission average of 75%.

Application Process

Aspiring students don’t need to separately apply for the scholarship, the Humber College Entrance Scholarship is assessed and awarded on the offer of admission itself.

Students must first apply for admissions before applying for the scholarship.
The Entrance Scholarships form will be included in the acceptance package.
Applicants also need to provide Personal Information, Academic Information, and proof of English Language proficiency.

Required Documents

The following documents must be submitted to initialize the application:

Student ID number from Humber College.
Confirmed Letter of Acceptance from Humber College for the full-time program.
Statement of interest by the applicant (Grade point average must be mentioned)
Two letters of reference.

Selection Process

Eligible students must pay their full tuition fees and the scholarship amount will be credited to the student account after the 10th day of classes. The scholarship will be disbursed in two installments over the 1st two semesters. Details of the shortlisting are mentioned below:

Selection is carried out based on the merit of the students.
Selection is done on a first-come-first-serve basis of students confirming their offer of acceptance by Humber College.
No review will be conducted in case of an incomplete application.
Only those students will be notified who will be finally selected for the scholarship.
The scholarship gets renewed only if the scholarship holders maintain a minimum average of 80% throughout their semesters.
