BU Faculty of Management Executive Dean's Scholarship (International)

BU Faculty of Management Executive Dean’s Scholarship is designed to reward excellence for their postgraduate students, to provide them financially, additional support. The scholarship is for international PG students, registered full-time under faculty of management at Bournemouth University (BU).

Postgraduate diploma students are not eligible to apply.
A total of three awards are given under the BU Faculty of Management Executive Dean's Scholarship (International).
Recipients will get a 50% tuition fee reduction for the intended program of study.

Separate applications along with personal statements should be submitted for scholarship consideration.

Eligibility Criteria

International students who want to secure the BU Faculty of Management Executive Dean's Scholarship (International) must meet the eligibility criteria mentioned below:

Applicants must enroll in a full-time postgraduate course with the faculty of management at BU.
Achieved a minimum of UK second-class honors, i.e., 2:1, degree or equivalent, based on the PG study.
Applicants for Postgraduate are ineligible.
Must not be the recipient of another BU scholarship.

Application Process

Separate applications along with personal statements are required to be submitted at Bournemouth University for scholarship consideration.

For a personal statement, it is advisable to mention the exceptional qualities the student possesses for the BU scholarship (approximately 300 words). This may include,

Reason for applying and how it is beneficial to the candidate.
Existing academic record, any exemplary achievements or proficiency in English.
Professional experience and career aspirations.
What you bring to the university and/or the charity that you adopt to provide back to the community/society.
What motivates you and what are the aspirations upon returning to your home country.

Note: The deadline date may be extended based on the availability of the funds. Late applications would not be accepted unless the deadline is extended further.

Selection Process

The applications are evaluated case-by-case for the selection of the recipients. They will be judged on academic scores, personal statements, ELP scores and their career aspirations.

Recipients will be notified about the outcome.

Scholarships are reviewed regularly and the university reserves the right to withdraw, amend or introduce new scholarships at any time.

Grant Details

International students who want to study in one of the top UK Universities i.e. BU are eligible for this scholarship. However, they must pursue PG program and register under Faculty of Management.

Three awards covering a 50% tuition fee reduction are given based on the academic excellence of the students.

However, the university reserves every right to withhold or change scholarship amounts according to the funds available.
