Swinburne International Excellence Scholarships

Swinburne International Excellence Scholarships are offered to international students who wish to pursue higher education in Australia at the Swinburne University of Technology.

The scholarships apply to students commencing their studies in UG and PG programs at the university.
The amount of the scholarship varies for both UG and PG level.
- For the UG course: up to 30 per cent reduction for the duration of the course.
- For PG courses: up to 30 per cent reduction for the duration of the course.

No External applications are required to be submitted for the scholarship. If the university finds candidate deserving for the same, they will be automatically considered.

NOTE:

For UG course: Students who are already enrolled in ELICOS+ program will be automatically considered for this scholarship.

Excluded courses: Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Aviation and Piloting, Bachelor of Aviation and Piloting / Bachelor of Business (double degree) and one-year honours degrees.

For PG course: Students who are already enrolled in our ELICOS+ program will be automatically considered for this scholarship.

Excluded courses: Master of Physiotherapy, Master of Dietetics, and Master of Occupational Therapy.
Students who are studying the Master of Information Technology (Professional Computing) or Master of Science (Network Systems) are eligible to receive A$2500 off their tuition

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be enrolled in UG and PG programs at the Swinburne University of Technology to be eligible for the scholarship.

Apart from that, applicants must fulfill eligibility requirements listed below for the scholarship:

Must be the citizen of any country except Australia and New Zealand.
Must not be currently enrolled in any UG or PG program at the university.
- UG students can be enrolled in ELICOS program
Must not hold another scholarship or reduced fee arrangement.
Must have achieved an academic result of at least 65% – 80% GPA Australian standard equivalent.

Application Process

No external application form is required for securing the scholarship. While assessing admission application, candidates will be evaluated for Swinburne International Excellence Scholarships too.

Students must check admission requirements at the Swinburne University of Technology so that the application process for the scholarship becomes easy.

Selection Process

The eligible candidates will be automatically assessed by the team of judges who will select the students after considering their admission application and academic skills.

The better academic grades are, the higher are the chances of getting selected.

Recipients of the scholarship will be informed via email regarding the same.

Note: If you receive a performance-based scholarship, you will be required to maintain a 75 per cent study load. High achievers on our top-level scholarships will be required to maintain a certain level of academic success. For more details, please refer to your offer letter.

Grant Details

The future international students who are planning to study at the university from the Swinburne University of Technology can apply for the scholarship.

For UG courses: up to 30 per cent reduction for the duration of the course.
For PG courses: up to 30 per cent reduction for the duration of the course.
- For the Master of Information Technology (Professional Computing) or Master of Science (Network Systems), the scholarship amount is fixed at AUD 2,500 for the entire course.
