TU Delft Holland Scholarship

TU Delft Holland Scholarship is awarded by the Delft University of Technology, to international students of excellent academic reputation. The scholarship is given to students who have applied to TU Delft university's PG programs in the field of Science.

Students must hold a bachelor’s degree from an internationally renowned university outside the Netherlands.
This scholarship is available for students enrolled in full-time 2-years MSc Programs at TU Delft University.
Students will be awarded 5000 EUR to cover the living expenses for the first year of study.
No separate application is required for this scholarship.
- However, admission application for the TU Delft University must be submitted before February 01, 2023, along with 2 reference letters.

TU Delft Holland Scholarship can be earned in combination with the TU Delft Excellence Scholarship and the Sub Saharan Excellence Scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria

Only international students outside the EEA zones are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Apart from that, applicants must fulfill the eligibility requirements listed below:

Must be enrolled in an MSc program offered by Delft University of Technology
Must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field outside the Netherlands
Must have a cumulative GPA of 75% on scale maximum.

Application Process

No separate application form is required to be submitted for the TU Delft Holland Scholarship.

Applicants must submit their admission application form along with two reference letters.

Selection Process

The Delft University of Technology selects recipients of Holland Scholarships based on excellence presented through the application and reference letters.

Students are advised to highlight their academic achievements, extracurricular participation, and ambition in their application for admission.

Only students who have been granted a scholarship will be informed by TU Delft via email between the end of March 2023 and May 2023.

Ques. Can one receive other grants while partaking of the TU Delft Holland Scholarship?

Ans. Students can add to the TU Delft Holland Scholarship only the following two Scholarships- TU Delft Excellence Scholarship and Sub Saharan Excellence Scholarship. Any other TU Delft mobility grants such as Erasmus+, JvE, STIR, IS and VM shall not be allowed.

Ques. Can students accept internship opportunities abroad while studying at TU Delft University?

Ans. Students can take internships abroad, in countries outside the periphery of EU/EEA. The residence country of the student is prohibited for an internship as well.

Ques. When will I be notified about the availability of the TU Delft Holland Scholarship?

Ans. Students who have been selected will be informed over email by TU Delft, between the final week of March 2023 - May 2023.
