Alberta Geomatics Group Scholarship

Awarded annually to one eligible student, Alberta Geomatics Group Scholarship is an internal scholarship program at the University of Calgary. The scholarship program is designed for students entering or enrolled in their 3rd or 4th year of Calgary UG program in the Department of Engineering.

  • Recipients are awarded a financial aid of 500 CAD for their UG program's tuition & fees.
  • A separate online application form must be submitted for the Alberta Geomatics Scholarship.
  • For the Alberta Geomatics Group Scholarship 2023, applicants must be submitted before May 1.

The selection of the Alberta Geomatics Group Scholarship is done on the basis of financial need and academic merit.

Eligibility Criteria

The Alberta Geomatics Group Scholarship is specially designed for students demonstrating excellent grades in Academics and, who are entering their 3rd or 4th year of UG studies.

Applicants must have opted for a major in Geomatics Engineering or the Faculty of Arts, majoring in Geography


Application Process

The AGG scholarship requires a separate external application that is accepted through an online process. Prospective applicants of the Alberta Geomatics Group Scholarship must apply through the MyUofC portal of the University of Calgary.
