International Student Postgraduate Scholarship- South Asia

Griffith University has taken an initiative in the form of International Student Postgraduate Scholarship- South Asia to help students coming from Indian, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh who wish to study at Griffith.

  • Students must enroll in PG programs at Griffith University.
  • A separate application is not required for an International Student Postgraduate Scholarship.
    • Students will be evaluated based on their admission application.
  • Recipients will be awarded a 10% fee reduction for the first two trimesters.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants who wish to study in Australia at Griffith University can apply for this scholarship. They must meet the eligibility requirements listed below:

  • Must be a citizen of any of these countries – India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka or Bangladesh.
  • Must satisfy the entry requirements for the chosen program as specified by the University.
  • Must meet English Language requirements.
  • Enroll in a postgraduate degree at Griffith University in Trimester 2 or 3.

Applicants for Doctor of Medicine, higher degree research, online, non-award and offshore delivered programs are ineligible.


Application Process

Once the application for admission is done. The university will find a suitable applicant eligible for the International Student Postgraduate Scholarship- South Asia.

Griffith International will mention scholarship details and information in section '2 - Tuition and other fees' as part of the 'Additional information' in the offer letter itself.


Selection Process

The selection of the recipient is based on meeting eligibility criteria for the scholarship. Candidates will be judged based on their admission application only.

Their academic scores, test scores are taken to study in Australia, or any academic references will be taken into consideration before the final decision is announced.


Grant Details

Students from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh who wish to pursue higher education at Australia’s Griffith University are invited for this scholarship.

  • Applicants commencing the PG program and meeting other requirements of the scholarship are eligible.
  • Recipients will get a 10% fee reduction for the first two trimesters of the program.

Terms and Conditions regarding International Student Postgraduate Scholarship- South Asia:

  • The applicant must be an International Fee Paying student.
  • The scholarship may be withdrawn or canceled if there is any change to international fee-paying status.
  • Students must remain enrolled in the same course/program of study for which the scholarship offer was made.
  • In case the student cancels or withdraws for any reason, the scholarship amount is non-refundable.
