Eligibility Criteria

Melbourne Graduate Scholarship demands applicants to fulfill the subsequent eligibility requirements:

  • Citizenship: International student; not a citizen or permanent of Australia or New Zealand.
  • Applied for an eligible Masters’s degree program at the University of Melbourne.
  • Not in receipt for any other scholarship or tuition fee remission which, in addition to Melbourne Graduate Scholarship, becomes more than 100% of the total tuition fees.

Eligible Melbourne Graduate Programs

  • All PG coursework degree programs offered by the Melbourne School of Design, Melbourne Business School, and Melbourne School of Engineering.
  • Melbourne Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences: Executive Master of Arts, Master of Translation, and Master of International Journalism.
  • Melbourne School of Government: Graduate Certificate of Public Administration.
  • Melbourne Law School: Melbourne Law Masters

Application Process

Only those students who are enrolled in the Melbourne Master of Teaching need to submit an online Melbourne Graduate Scholarship application. No other master’s program requires applicants to submit an online scholarship application.

NOTE:This scholarship is not available for 2023.


Selection Process

Applications of Melbourne Graduate Scholarship are evaluated and analyzed by the university. The eligible candidates are then shortlisted based on academic merit. The Melbourne Graduate Scholarship recipients are selected from that list.
