UNSW Future of Change Scholarship

UNSW Future of Change Scholarship is designed to attract Indian students who wish to pursue higher studies at UG and PG programs at the University of New South Wales (UNSW).

  • The scholarship applies to students commencing studies in 2020.
  • No external application is required for the UNSW Future of Change Scholarship.
    • Students will be evaluated on their admission applications only.
    • Applying earlier to the various PG and UG programs at UNSW increases of getting a scholarship.
  • The award is generally granted shortly after the complete admission process and the commencement of studies
  • The scholarship amount of 10,000 AUD (5,57,696 INR) per annum is given to the recipients of the scholarship.
  • Recipients will be selected on a merit basis only.

Payment will be made in the form of a stipend to assist with the costs associated with studies. Recipients must note that the scholarship cannot be deferred for the next year of study at the University of New South Wales.

Eligibility Criteria

Indian students who want to study abroad at UNSW can secure UNSW Future of Change. For this, they are required to meet the eligibility criteria mentioned below:

  • Must be residing in India before commencing study at UNSW.
  • Must have applied and received an offer of admission at the University of New South Wales.
  • Students applying during their PG may have a prior residence in Australia or India.
  • Students commencing their courses in Term 1, Term 2, or Term 3 during 2023 are eligible.
  • Must be enrolled in the UNSE Institute of Languages and completed the program prior to the application of the scholarship.

Application Process

International students commencing in Term 1, 2023 are not required to submit an application for the scholarships and awards listed in this section. Eligible students who have received an offer of admission to commence at UNSW in Term 1, 2023 will be automatically considered for these scholarships and awards.

Offers for these scholarships and awards will be awarded to eligible students on a competitive basis using your application for admission to UNSW. You do not need to submit any specific scholarship application or additional supporting documentation to be considered.

Selection Process

UNSW Future of Change Scholarship is based on merit and the ability to demonstrate academic excellence hence not all students are entitled to the scholarship.

The scholarship is not granted unless the student is a permanent resident of India, is in Term 1, Term 2, or Term 3 in 2023 and has opted to pursue the UG or PG course at the UNSW.
