Fees and Financial Aid
The MBA or PGPM program at IIM Trichy is a full-time course spanning six trimesters. Admission to the PGPM is based on a valid CAT exam score. Candidates who qualify based on their CAT scores are then required to participate in a Personal Interview (PI) round. The final selection is determined by a composite scorecard that incorporates weights from three criteria: CAT score, PI performance, and profile evaluation. Candidates must have completed their graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (or 45% for SC/ST candidates). Those in their final year of undergraduate studies and awaiting results may also apply. However, if selected, their admission will be provisional until they submit a pre-final certificate signed by the relevant authorities from their previous institution/university by June 30 of the admission year. The final selection will consider the CAT score, PI performance, educational background, work experience (if applicable), and gender diversity.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Written Ability Test (WAT) was omitted from the CAP. The selection criteria for IIM Trichy place significant emphasis on the CAT score and PI, assigning weights of 50% and 25%, respectively. Additional factors considered in the PGPM admissions include Verbal Comprehension (from the CAT), work experience, academic performance in the qualifying degree, and gender diversity. IIM Trichy also offers programs such as PGPBM at its Chennai campus, DPM, and EDPM. The selection process for PGPBM and EDPM involves a Written Test followed by a PI. In contrast, DPM admissions are based on entrance exams like CAT, GMAT, GATE, GRE, UGC-JRF, or the IIMB Test, followed by a subject-specific interview and PI with the DPM Committee.
