IT from NSIT is the best option among these.

  • The student crowd is brilliant. It has a small batch size compared to DTU. So, you will face less competition.
  • NSIT has an amazing pool of faculties. You will get to learn from excellent faculty members like Sangeeta Sabharwal and MPS Bhatia.
  • NSIT IT placements are better than DTU and IIIT D. DTU has a better placement record for core branches. While NSIT offers better placements opportunities to CS and IT students. In the recent placement drive, the average CTC for IT at NSIT was INR 6 LPA
  • Companies like Facebook, Google hire students from NSIT from their US offices.
  • Major consulting and non-tech companies like Bain, BCG, ZS Associates, etc. also visit the campus placements.

IIIT Delhi has an excellent research culture and professors from top universities like Carnegie Mellon. So, if you are interested in research, you should choose IIIT D. Overall IT from NSIT is the best option in terms of academics and placements.

NSIT is a reputed private institute in Delhi. The institute takes admission for B.Tech IT through JAC (Joint Admission Council). In 2019 the JEE closing cutoff for IT at the institute was 8317. The course fee is INR 6.7 lakhs (1st-year fee). B. Tech graduates at the institute receive salary packages ranging between 4 LPA to 27 LPA each year.

DTU is ranked 34th among the best technical universities in India by NIRF 2019. DTU also intakes students into B.Tech IT through JAC and the closing cutoff for IT in 2019 was 13679. The course fee is 1.66 lakh (1st-year course fee). The placement statistics of 2019 for the institute reveals a total of 107 placement offers were received by the students of IT and 86 students got placed from the department. The highest CTC received the students of IT was around 40.63 LPA.

IIIT Delhi is a state university primarily focused on computer science and allied areas. It is ranked among 55th among the engineering colleges of India by NIRF 2019. The admission to B.Tech CSE is made through JAC based on the performance of the students in the JEE Mains. The closing cutoff for CSE in 2019 was 16693. The course fee is 3.6 lakhs for the first year.

All three colleges have their own advantages. The course curriculum of CSE at IIIT D is better than that of NSIT and DTU. In IIIT-D the first two years of the CSE course curriculum involve core fundamentals of computer science also the research culture is batter at this institute compared to NSIT and DTU. However, NSIT and DTU have batter peer groups. So, choose according to your convenience.
