What happens in the first day of orientation program in Madras Institute of Technology?

One of my friends got admission to the Madras Institute of Technology. He attended the orientation program and had a very unique experience. He was nervous and equally excited. Let me share how his orientation went on the first day of his college.

• He was late and rushed to the orientation location.
• He saw a significant number of people and met the anti-ragging squad.
• When he reached, the HODs of every department introduced themselves, followed by the Dean.
• He went over the rules and regulations, as well as some details and procedures of the college.
• After that, a hostel room had been assigned to him, and introduced himself to his roommate. It was his first time in the hostel.
• During the afternoon session, where they learned about the first semester's classes.
• The second day of orientation happened and the alumni from a variety of departments attended and shared their college experiences.
• The session proceeded with Dean presenting a collection of YouTube videos on the latest technology such as Google Glass, 3D printing, AI, Machine learning, and so on.

The session ended at 5.00 pm with the national song and after that, all the students dispersed. The next day onwards classes began as usual.
