In what way are academics tough at Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University, and what is the way to survive with good marks? I have recently started studying at SRMU, B.Tech-CS in the course.

For B.Tech CSE, Shri Ramswaroop Memorial College follows the UPTU syllabus. Being a student here myself, I can say It is not difficult, but you will need to devote a significant amount of time to develop your concepts.

For a better understanding, I have listed some pros and cons of the college.

Pros:

• The college has a strong academic record.
• Previously, there was only one college, but it is now a deemed university. It is well-known throughout Uttar Pradesh.
• First-year teachers are exceptional. They are well-experienced in their fields.
• There are numerous extracurricular activities available.
• A wide range of books can be found in libraries.

Cons:

• The rules on campus are very strict.
• Every Monday and Saturday, there is a test.
• CSE faculty has a lower level of experience.
• The placements are mediocre. TCS and a few regional firms visit.
• There is less exposure.
• Although labs are excellent, they continue to rely on turbo C.
• Every Monday and Saturday, the college holds a one-hour quiz for each subject, which affects internals. So, for each of the five subjects, there will be four quizzes, followed by two midterm examinations based on the UPTU pattern.

One advantage is that the college has a Student Development program and other classes that prepare students for life in the real world.

Pay close attention in class and make certain that you understand the concept. Always be inquisitive and take part in cultural events.
