B.Tech from Dharmsinh Desai University, Nadiad (2017)

Nirma University IT is a better option. The reasons are course curriculum, the teaching methodology used, and faculty. The seniors of the institute are also quite helpful.

Nirma University offers the best infrastructure among all other colleges in Gujarat. Some of the major recruiters for the branch are Cognizant, Motorola, Samsung, Wipro, etc. Students of Nirma usually get an average CTC of around INR 10 LPA.

  • Nirma University is considered the best in Gujarat. It has labs equipped with wifi and internet, library and all other facilities.
  • Sports facilities at Nirma University are also better than DDU.
  • The only drawback of Nirma University is that it lacks a hostel for B.Tech students. It is offered only to postgraduate students.
  • The biggest cultural and technical festival, Horizon, is much better than Felicific, the festival of DDU.
  • DDU is better than Nirma University, as it has a mandatory attendance of 75% as opposed to 85% at Nirma University.
  • The mess food should be average and almost the same in both the colleges.

So considering all these points, Nirma University makes for a much better choice among the two.
