- Nirma University is considered the best in Gujarat. It has labs equipped with wifi and internet, library and all other facilities.
- Sports facilities at Nirma University are also better than DDU.
- The only drawback of Nirma University is that it lacks a hostel for B.Tech students. It is offered only to postgraduate students.
- The biggest cultural and technical festival, Horizon, is much better than Felicific, the festival of DDU.
- DDU is better than Nirma University, as it has a mandatory attendance of 75% as opposed to 85% at Nirma University.
