Xavier Institute of Management, also known as XIMB, is a prestigious B-school in India. Here's what you need to know about the availability of management quota seats at XIMB:
background or affiliations.
There is no admission to XIMB or XUB through management quota in MBA programs. You will have to qualify through any of the exams like XAT, CAT, GMAT, X-GMAT, and NMAT.
You can apply for admission by registering yourself and filling up an application form. You will also have to pay an application fee of INR 1500 for the first option and another INR 700 for every subsequent option you wish to choose.
Once you accept your application form, you will also receive a confirmation date. You can expect to qualify for the GDPI and WAT rounds based on your scores in the above-mentioned entrance exams. The final verdict also depends on how well you perform in the GDPI and WAT rounds.
In order to qualify for application, you need to have a bachelor’s degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate. In case you are still in the final year of your program, you can gain provisional admission.
If you are also concerned about work experience, this is mainly required for executive MBA courses. The admission process is a two-step process. One involves your performance in the entrance exam and the next depends on your group discussion and writing ability along with the personal interview. There are designated centers set up for the interview rounds and the writing ability rounds.
For final selection, the institute considers past academic records and relevant work experience.
