For M. Tech VLSI, the 2017-19 batch had 4 students out of 24 that were placed successfully from NIT Surathkal. The placement rate of VLSI in M.Tech is quite low. But that’s not because of the college, it’s rather because the students were hired as an intern by the companies like Dell, Qualcomm, Intel, Rambus Chip Technology, etc. after their first year and these students were not available in the college after that.

In 2018-20 batch, 15 students out of 25 were placed as an intern in Intel. If you have an aggregate higher than 6 CGPA then you can expect placement with a package of around 10-18 lakhs per annum. The placement average for VLSI is around 100%.

The college offers both placements and internships and is providing more and more placements and internships in the coming years.
