Here are some helpful tips for IT students starting their second year at MNNIT Allahabad.

The first tip is obvious, start coding. There are various online forums that you can use to learn and track your progress. Be consistent. Seek guidance from seniors who are good at coding.
Make connections. Find like-minded people. They will be your family away from home.
‘AVISHKAR’ is a great opportunity to do mini projects of your interest. It’s not mandatory, but doing such projects will make your resume stand out.

3rd semester is easier than the rest of the semesters. It is easier to score as well. Second year is ideal for improving your CPI.

I have a few friends at MNNIT Allahabad. Here are some of the tips that they provided.

You must read and go through the Data Structure and Algorithm as thoroughly as you can. It is because these are the two subjects that are immensely important for placements at all times.
Read Digital Electronics since the beginning of the semester as it is a bit lengthy and takes a lot of time for logical-based inferences. It takes a lot more time and more amount of practice.
If you can, you must attend all the Labs, as the grading of the marks is primarily done on the basis of attendance.

You must also practice interview questions. These are available on various websites like Interviewbit.
Get familiarized with Computer Organisation and try practicing more.

You should develop better communication skills as they matter a lot and are highly in demand.
