In terms of brand recognition and exposure, NSUT IT is better than PEC Chandigarh. Delhi offers way better exposure, due to the presence of the industry belt in the area. There are many reputed technological institutes in Delhi such as IIITD, so the learning opportunities are ample.

CSE and IT aren’t too different. The major difference between the two branches is hardware and 90% of students are more invested in software roles. If you aren’t particularly interested in the hardware section of Computer Science, choosing NSUT will be better. NSUT placements are great for IT. Students of the branch get salary packages in the range of INR 4 - 20 LPA.

But, NSUT stands out as it is located in a proper metro city where you will see a lot of places to visit and roam around, learn.

This is a sure thing that the kind of exposure you get in Delhi is immense and captivating as you can find a plethora of opportunities.
This is because of the presence of other good engineering colleges like IITD, DTU, IIITD, etc.
The brand value of NSUT is better than PEC.
