Yes, ECE at IIIT Allahabad is surely worth choosing over CS at NITs like Kurukshetra, Surat, or Bhopal. I may not have much information about Surat and Bhopal but here is a detailed comparison between IIIT Allahabad and NIT Kurukshetra

In NIT Kurukshetra, the curriculum is more like computer science and engineering, but the degree is offered in the name of computer engineering.
