ILEAD Kolkata offers good mass communication and journalism programs both for UG and PG discipline. Situated in the Topsia district of East Kolkata, ILEAD is an institute offering more than 50 professional courses. It is affiliated to the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology.
Admission Process- For all PG & UG courses the session starts from the month of August but the entrance test for admission starts from the month of March. Fee and Hostel Facility- For the 3-year course of B.Sc in Media Science, students need to pay INR 50,000 per semester along with one-time payments at the time of admission. The total expenditure for the course round up to 4.5 Lakhs. For postgraduate programs, the semester fee is INR 53,000 and the total expense of 2 years is nearly 3.7 Lakhs. The college arranges PG accommodation for outstation students; the charges of which are not included in the course fees.
Placements - The placement rate fluctuates between 70-85% with several big players visiting for hiring. The likes of The Telegraph, Times of India, NDFC, Network 18 visit the college. In recent years fresh pass-outs have been placed at Taza TV, Friends FM, India Today.
