How good is HRM of XIMB and what are the profiles usually offered to the students?
XIMB HRM is among the top 5 HR courses in the country. The institute has a great curriculum for HRM. Attrition is low in HR, so you might not find newer roles. However, XIMB offers decent job roles to students.
HRM students are usually recruited in Talent Acquisition roles, Recruitment roles, etc. Students also receive lots of offers from Consulting companies. In general, roles offered by Consulting companies are Business HR or Analytics.

- Xavier’s School for Human Resource Management is considered to be the second-best business school under Xavier’s family consisting of XISS, XIME, XIM Goa, etc. But, XIM Bhubaneswar is definitely better than XSHR by almost all means.
- Students in HRM get placed in various profiles, including Recruitment, Generalist, C&B, Talent related streams, etc. There is no specific profile in which HRM students get placed in maximum or a specific pattern of placement.
- HRM at Xavier’s is not a good option for students who have just missed a better B-school by inches or are sure to crack a better institute in the future. Candidates having a good job already in hand should not go for HRM.
- For candidates with 2-4 years of experience, XIMB is a good choice. Above that, candidates with too much experience have to face some problems in placement after the two-year MBA degree.
