NIT Jamshedpur and BIT Mesra intake students through JEE Mains (which is conducted by CSAB). JEE Mains allows admission to NITs, BIT Mesra, and various other engineering colleges.

JCECE allows admission to state colleges of Jharkhand. BIT Sindri is the best college to get into by qualifying JCECE. If you are interested in branches like Mining and Metallurgy, BIT Sindri is a good choice.

If you perform well in JEE Mains, you may qualify for the top NITs like Warangal, Trichy, etc.

No, you can’t take admission in BIT Mesra and NIT Jamshedpur after qualifying Jharkhand combined examination. You need to appear for JEE Main, to get admission to these institutes. You will get a shortlist if you clear the required cutoff.

Students qualifying Jharkhand combined examination can take admission to state-level colleges of Jharkhand such as BIT Sindri.

No, you cannot get admission to BIT Mesra and/or NIT Jamshedpur if you are unable to qualify for JEE Mains which are conducted by the CSAB. Qualifying the JEE Mains will grant you the capability to apply for admission in places like the NITs, BIT/s, etc.

On the other hand, qualifying for the Jharkhand Combined Examination allows admission only in the state colleges of Jharkhand. The best college that you will get after you qualify for the Jharkhand Combined Examination would be BIT Sindri which is a pretty good college for mining and metallurgy. A good rank in JEE Mains is necessary for having a possibility in the colleges that you have mentioned. The preferred ranking as far as I have heard is around 20000 or so. You can do some research too to get in-depth knowledge.
