When choosing a college, it's important to have realistic expectations.

Doon Business School is located in Dehradun valley, which is known as the knowledge city. The college offers MBA and PGDM courses at affordable prices, which makes it a good option for students from middle-class families who want to pursue a career in business.

The college's placement cell is decent and works hard to ensure that all students find employment. However, if you have unrealistic expectations and expect the college to perform like a Tier-1 college, you might be disappointed.

It's important to keep in mind that every college has its pros and cons, and what works for someone else might not necessarily work for you. Ultimately, it's about finding the right fit and choosing a college that aligns with your personal and professional goals.

Doon Business School

I know someone who attended Doon Business School. Here are some of the important facts to look upon before joining Doon Business School.

  • The placements are just average. The number of the better offers are very few for students of MBA/PGDM. One of the most important aspects of choosing a college is its placements and the record of Doon Business School does not attract much. The highest CTC offered was 23 LPA while the average CTC was 4 LPA.
  • You can get better packages after joining any certification course or by job searching websites. Sometimes, the students are placed at packages as low as 12-15k per month after doing an MBA/PGDM at Doon Business School.
  • The recruiting companies that are mentioned on the website of the college recruit students for profiles such as Associate, Support, etc.
  • The college is also sometimes co-branded by using the term “Doon” as many people are unaware that this college is not at all related to “The Doon School”.

So, it will be better if you take a break and prepare again for the MBA entrance exams and try for better B-schools. You can look for colleges in and around Mumbai as there is a good number of B-schools.
