What is the stupidest thing you have heard in a IIIT Allahabad classroom?

A friend of mine attended IIIT Allahabad and he shared a few anecdotes from his time there with me. His favorite teacher used to be Dr. Sanjai Singh. He used to teach many subjects from Optics to Digital Electronics to Quantum Mechanics. 

• His favorite topic was ‘Wave Theory’ which he intentionally used to mispronounce as ‘Babe Theory’. This used to be a laughing riot. 

• Out of 80 students, 7 chose Quantum Physics as their electives. He asked those students if they chose the subject on their own or it was imposed upon them. He also said, ‘They assigned this subject to me, but the syllabus is on MIT level. Let’s try and see if we can complete it.’ 
• For Digital Electronics he taught conversion from Binary to Decimal to Hexa for 3 weeks. And started a completely new topic afterward.
• He memorized the whole ASCII table and made everyone note it down from the blackboard by saying there will be questions in the examination from it. 

My friend was very fond of Dr. Singh and still reminisces about those days.
