IIIT Allahabad is a well-known college for programming. So, if you want a coding-related job, this is the right place for you.

Coding Culture:

It has one of the best coding cultures in the country and is the first college to introduce a competitive programming course as a semester course.

Ranking:

As far as rankings are concerned, IIIT Allahabad stands 10th all over India in all government colleges.
In 2016, it stood at 57th in ACM-ICPC all over the world in the final and 1st in India – ahead of IIT Delhi which ranked 61st in the world.

Placements:

One of my seniors in 2015 was offered a package of INR 1 crore by Google.
Since then, the college has maintained a stellar placement record. In 2020, the placement average was around 96%.
The average package as of 2020 is INR 20.83 LPA which is quite good and competitive with the top three NITs and a few other IIT’s.
