Which would be a better choice, CSE at BIT Mesra, CSE at VIT Vellore, or ECE at IIIT Allahabad?
The preference order for the given colleges is IIIT Allahabad > BIT Mesra > VIT. In terms of placements, CSE is better than ECE. However, you should prefer the branch you are interested in. I have information about BIT Mesra and IIIT Alahabad. As a few friends of mines go to these institutes. When it comes to reputation, IIIT Allahabad tops the race in any case. But what matters more is your interest. Since you will be studying it for the next four years.
Comparison:
- If you are a coder, IIIT Allahabad is the best option. It has a really good coding culture.
- However, if branch is a matter of concern for you, you should think about joining BIT Mesra. It is well-reputed for CSE. The fees will be a little on the higher side at BIT Mesra.
