Is IIEST Shibpur better than average NITs like Kurukshetra, Jaipur, Bhopal, Surat and Patna for pursuing an M.Tech?

IIEST, Shibpur which was formerly known as BESU has really done well since it got upgraded from BESU to IIEST. Moreover, IIEST, Shibpur is on the same podium sharing the stage with IITs and old NITs. But, IIEST, Shibpur is on the higher positions when compared to NITs except few old NITs.
