Yes. IIEST Shibpur is fully residential and it has more than 20 hostels and halls combined and the facilities provided at the hostel are very good too.

Rooms:

There are two hostels for first-year boys and two hostels for second-year boys. Separate hostels are provided to avoid ragging incidents. A single room is shared by four people but the rooms are big enough and are comfortable for all of them. Boys of 3rd year get single accommodation but they can also opt for shared accommodation. There are two halls for the accommodation of girls.

Facilities:

The hostel provides many facilities like 24x7 electricity and water supply, high-speed WiFi connection, separate messes for each hostel, canteens, sports room and a library too.

Mess:

The mess also provides delicious food specially Bengali food like chicken, fish, local vegetables as most of the chefs are Bengali. But students can choose their own menu and can tell the chef to make food according to them. Chicken is most served and many other items are being served too.
There is a grand feast celebrated at every hostel once a month and many special items are being cooked at that time.
No breakfast or evening snacks are served at the mess. But there are many options available for breakfast like you can go and eat at hostel canteens, or there are many fast food stores available outside the campus where you can enjoy food.
