B.Tech + M.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology Varanasi (2025)

In the latest NIRF 2019 Rankings, IIT(BHU) is ranked in 11th position. Although it became an IIT only in 2012, it is one of the oldest colleges in India. IT-BHU is more than 100 years old due to which it has a wide network of alumni and that reflects on the placements.

The Banaras Hindu University has a huge campus of area 1300 acres. The faculty are well-experienced too. As far as academics are concerned, the JEE Rankers opt for IIT(BHU) following the top 7 IITs. The placements only get better year after year. In the last placements’ session, the highest package offered was 2.27 crores. All the tech-giants visit the college in the placements’ season at IIT(BHU).

In a nutshell, each IIT is unique in itself. As each of these institutes represents the premier institute for imparting technical education in India. The ranking depends upon how they individually perform. The individual performance basically depends on how efficiently a particular IIT is using the resources provided to it.
