The architecture of the Sidi Saiyyed Mosque is internationally renowned for its beautiful and unique stone lattice work designed by Sidi Saeed or Sidi Saiyyed in 1573 on the walls of the mosque in the center of Ahmedabad city. 

The latticework is identical to interwoven trees with lofty branches hanging and extensively detailed flora carvings. The craftsmanship is sophisticated and detailed. 

Because of its elegance, this mosque is recognized globally. The Siddi Saiyyed Masjid has been so skillfully carved that it provides an impressive view and makes it a distinct location for tourists. 

People come here from different places to pray and witness this magnificent architecture. Essentially the skillfully carved Jali screen windows that reflect the Indo-Saracenic style and have been an admiration for a large number of tourists around the world. The mosque is known for its stone tracery, consisting of windows that have been delicately carved.

IIM Ahmedabad chose this elegant style and world-class stone art as an inspiration for the logo of their institution.
