FMS Delhi is better for an MBA. The institute is ahead of IIM Kozhikode in terms of fees, placement, ROI, cutoff, and other aspects.

FMS Delhi fees are only INR 1.92 lakhs, while the average CTC for the institute is INR 32.4 LPA. So, the return on investment is pretty good. Around 100+ companies participate in the placement drive each year.

FMS Delhi has the upper hand and not IIM Kozhikode. Some may say otherwise that IIM provides the brand tag which is missing in FMS. But Kozhikode is nowhere near the top IIMs when it comes to credibility. So it is suggested that you save some money and go for FMS Delhi instead which will give you the proper education and guidance.

Here are some things that make FMS better:

  • The fees of FMS Delhi are much lower than IIM Kozhikode.
  • Since the fees are less in FMS, the ROI is also good.
  • FMS is a much older and experienced institution than IIM Kozhikode. Their years of experience brings reliability to the institute.
  • Popular companies tend to incline towards a more experienced institution during placements, assuring to recruit some of the brilliant minds in the country.
  • The cut off of FMS is much higher than IIM Kozhikode, hence only some of the best students will be able to study there, providing a competitive edge over other colleges.
Categories FMS Delhi IIM Kozhikode
Course Fee INR 1.92 lakh INR 20.5 lakh
Placement Percentage 100% 80-90%
Highest CTC 35 LPA 30 LPA
Average CTC 20 LPA 14 LPA

The placements at FMS are really good. Top companies like KPMG, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, IDBI Bank, HUL, EY and many more take part in the recruitment process. The ROI will also be apt as FMS has a much lower course fee than IIM Kozhikode.
